Do you want to give your child something other than toys? Here are 6 Non-Toy Gift Ideas Your Kids Will Love:
6 Non-Toy Gift Ideas:
Membership~ One of our favorite gifts to give our children is a yearly membership to our local zoo and children’s museum. At many zoos and museums, the cost of a membership is less than if a family of four were to visit just twice during the year, so it can be quite a money saver.
Vacation~ Are you planning on taking a vacation this year? You can do something special on your trip. If you plan on going to Disney World or Sesame Place, consider having a dining experience with the characters. Your child is sure to have a blast meeting and eating with his or her favorite characters.
Outing~ We love to plan special outings or day trips with our children. You can give your child a gift certificate to go to the movies, get a manicure and pedicure, or go ice skating. It’s wonderful way to spend a day with you child and create lasting memories.
Subscription~ Is there a magazine that your child enjoys reading? A subscription to a magazine is an entertaining gift that will encourage your child to read and learn. Our children love to receive their Highlights for Children and Ranger Rick magazines in the mail every month.
Lessons or Classes~ Does your child want to take dance lessons or karate classes? Give him or her a gift certificate to try a class. If your child is interested in taking several classes, have him or her try one for a month and then switch to another one to see which class he or she likes best.
Event~ Concerts, plays, and sports games are always fun events to attend. My children loved seeing their favorite characters on stage in Sesame Street Live and Super Why Live. They also enjoy going to our minor league baseball team’s games during the summer.
Give your child one of these 6 Non-Toy Gift Ideas Your Kids Will Love this year and an experience that they will always remember.

My aunt and uncle used to take my cousin and me to the book store for a shopping spree each year. For this book lover, it was the best! #ThoughtfulSpot

I think it’s great to give things other than toys as they get so much anyway. Experiences are so much better in my book. #Madeforkids
