Blowing bubbles is one of my favorite outdoor activities for kids. My children love to help me make our own Homemade Bubble Recipe and spend the day outside blowing bubbles and playing bubble games.
Supplies:
- 4 Cups of Water
- 1 Cup of Dish Soap
- 1/2 Cup of Light Corn Syrup
- Container- Mason Jar, Jug, Bowl with Lid, or Pitcher
- Measuring Cups (Cup and 1/2 Cup)
- Spoon
Directions:
1. Mix warm water and the light corn syrup together in a large container such as a mason jar or a bowl with a lid. If your tap water is not warm enough, you can heat the water in a microwave for about 10 seconds.
2. Add the dish soap and stir gently to prevent the solution from bubbling.
3. Pour the solution into individual cups or containers to make it easier for children to use.
Are you looking for a homemade bubble wand? Try these household object:
- Pipe Cleaners- bent into shapes
- Cooke Cutters
- Plastic Bottle- cut a pop bottle in half
- Funnel
- Straws- bound a bunch together with tape or a rubber band
This Homemade Bubble Recipe is not only easy-to-make, but it’s a fun, outdoor activity for kids too.
