Ice Cream Cone Christmas Tree Treats are not only scrumptious snacks for kids but these tasty desserts are also fun for children to create. Making Ice Cream Cone Christmas Tree Treats is the perfect activity for kids during a classroom Holiday party or after Christmas dinner.
Ingredients:
- Sugar Ice Cream Cone
- Vanilla Frosting
- Green Food Coloring
- Christmas Sprinkles or Decors
- Christmas M&M’s
Supplies:
- Paper Plate
- Plastic Knife or Spoon
Directions:
- Mix the green food coloring and vanilla frosting together. The amount you will use will vary depending on how many ice cream cones that you want to decorate. To make two trees, we used 1/2 cup of vanilla frosting and 5 drops of green food coloring.
- Spread the green frosting on the sugar ice cream cone using a plastic knife or spoon. Instead of using a plastic utensil, your child can use his or her fingers to spread the frosting. It’s a little messy but a lot of fun!
- Sprinkle Christmas sprinkles or decors on the ice cream cone for the lights and add Christmas M&M’s for ornaments.
